Founding & Managing Partner
Milorad started his career in real estate in Prague in 1994 as a senior advisor with Muller International and subsequently as a director of Jones Lang LaSalle, working on some of the largest real estate projects at that time with an early-bird international and domestic developers in Prague.
In 2000 Milorad joined Karlin Group as commercial director and later was promoted to Director and Partner in the company. At Karlin Group Milorad was particularly involved together with his associates in the revitalization and redevelopment of the Karlín and Libeň district.
Karlin Group acted as an operating partner for real estate development in Prague to Marc Rich Real Estate, the family office investment branch of Marc Rich, founder of the Glencore commodities company. At Karlin, Milorad worked on the development of approx. 25 residential and class-A office premises. To this day, Milorad remains a shareholder of some Karlin Group projects in Karlín.
In 2012, Milorad joined the Israeli development group Daramis as CEO and oversaw the development of approx. 2,000 residential units. In the same year he also joined Sekyra Group as a Senior Advisor to the Chairman. Sekyra Group is a leading local real estate development company that developed three of our six largest development schemes in Prague, exceeding 1,000,000 m2 of mixed-use GFA.
In 2013, Milorad became a partner in the ECP Real Estate Investment Fund focused on development and income producing assets in Prague. This fund was one of the very first professional real estate funds at that time.
Milorad is also part of the board of the Pink Crocodile Charity for children, the Endowment Fund for Proton Therapy and he as well executes the role of a senior advisor to China Mobile for SEE, Expobank for CEE and SEE, and an advisor to the Chairman of Datasys.
In 2013, Milorad established Karlin Port Real Estate (KPRE), premium real estate investment and development company with its seat in Prague. KPRE provides a platform for investing in various types of real estate in the Czech and Central European real estate markets, as well as in the countries of the former Yugoslavia. The company is characterized by a very sensitive approach to urban planning and architecture. It focuses on the metropolis of Prague, where it is significantly involved in the transformation of the city.
In 2022, Milorad and his partner in KPRE Miki Goldstein established Opportunity Real Estate Fund SICAV with the main focus on investments in carefully selected residential development and commercial projects in Prague. The SICAV Opportunity Real Estate Fund offers an exceptional net annual return of at least 8% and aims to capitalise EUR 80 million of private investments over the next 2 years.
In 2022, Milorad and Miki teamed up with PSP-Farman Holding, leading real estate and development company in former Yugoslavia countries and created Western Balcan Investment Platform, a large-scale "local operating partner type" platform in Belgrade. The common goal of the business partners is garther up to 300 million euros and deploy them in a series real estate and development projects with added value and to contribute significantly to the further development of the region.
